Calendar of Events

The John McEnroe Tennis Academy (JMTA), in partnership with the Johnny Mac Tennis Project (JMTP), a nonprofit foundation, is seeking to identify and support the next generation of young athletes with strong potential and motivation in the New York City area and beyond. 

On Saturday, June 20th, children ages 6-10, with little or no tennis experience, are invited to attend the JMTA/JMTP Athletic Combine to be evaluated by SPORTIME/JMTA performance coaches at JMTA’s flagship location: SPORTIME Randall’s Island.  
Participants will engage in a variety of physical tests and games, designed to assess objective, measurable capacities such as speed, strength, agility and hand-eye coordination. Coaches will also evaluate factors such as attitude, energy-level and competitive spirit.
 

The John McEnroe Tennis Academy in partnership with the Johnny Mac Tennis Project, a nonprofit foundation, is seeking to identify and support the next generation of talented and highly motivated young tennis players in the New York City area and beyond. 
On Saturday, June 20th, players, ages 10-16, are invited to attend an open tryout to be considered for scholarships for the 2026-2027 year at JMTA's flagship location: SPORTIME Randall’s Island.
 

The John McEnroe Tennis Academy, the New York area’s premier tennis training program, is looking to recruit the most talented and highly motivated young athletes on Long Island. On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, aspiring players, ages 6-17, are invited to participate in an open tryout for the opportunity to earn full and partial scholarships for the 2026-2027 indoor season at JMTA Long Island locations at SPORTIME Port Washington and at SPORTIME Syosset.
